Accelerator Workshops

With the initial concepts and insights gained from the Industry Sharing and Master Talks, interested parties are encouraged to futher their knowledge of motion design, theoretical and technical, by taking part in the Accelerator Workshops.

The participants will be fully subsidised to complete the 12 workshops, and will each receive an additional subsidy of HK$5,000.

One minute on the stage requires 10 years of practice off stage. With the programme, you will benefit from:

- An invaluable learning experience with direct access to some of the most notable names of the global motion design scene
- Sharing by local industry experts with close to 10 years of motion design experience, as well as an established clientele and network
- First-hand updates and immediate access to existing industry ecology and upcoming trends

Application eligibility
1. Hong Kong residents aged 18 or above with a valid HKID card and/or working VISA
2. Art / Design related education background and/or work experience
3. Portfolio of design work or personal art work
4. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Jan - Feb

Commissioned Project

During the 12-week online workshop, the 30 participants will be required to complete assignments based on the course framework, on which mentors will provide feedback and advice on a one-to-one basis. Students may also have the chance to take part in a commissioned project to experience the work environment in real life. Under the project, students will follow instructions to produce a 15-30 sec motion design video, which may be selected for display in Sino properties. Each selected work will be offered HK$20,000 (6 quotas in total).
